*Each specification takes into account the required functions for each process.
*KA and AA specifications are stronger versions of KG, AG, and AM specifications (approximately twice the tensile strength).
Features of each specification
-
・KG/KA specifications for receiving and supply conveyors
The conveyor equipment in the receiving and supply area is the first line to transport collected waste, and depending on the item, heavy items may be fed into it.
Distortion of the apron due to high loads and impacts from the transported goods increases wear between the bushings and rollers, and dust and other particles adhere to the chain, causing problems such as poor roller rotation.
Therefore, the KG/KA specifications are designed to focus on wear resistance between the bushing and roller and measures to prevent roller rotation problems.
-
・AG/AA specifications for ash removal (dry) conveyor
This equipment cools the ash generated in the incinerator with water and transports the ash after removing some of the moisture. Depending on the transport conditions, the ash may also get on the chain itself.
This ash builds up and causes problems with chain bending and roller rotation.
Therefore, the AG/AA specifications are designed to address problems with chain bending and roller rotation.
-
・AM/AP specifications for ash removal (wet) conveyor
This conveyor equipment directly transports incineration ash that has been cooled by dropping it into water, and most of the conveyors are used underwater.
Therefore, this specification adds corrosion prevention measures to the AG/AA specification.
-
・Fly ash (general) conveyor FG specification
This is a conveyor that transports fly ash generated after incineration or boiler use.
Ash gets on the entire chain, causing problems with chain bending and roller rotation.
Therefore, the specifications are focused on preventing poor bending and roller rotation.
-
・FP specification for fly ash (corrosive) conveyor
In fly ash conveyors before the bag filter, slaked lime and other substances are often added to reduce the temperature, which can cause corrosion.
Therefore, the specifications incorporate corrosion resistance measures for general fly ash transport conveyors.
-
- YP specification for molten slag conveyor
In conveyor equipment that transports slag generated by melting furnaces, the granulated slag becomes sand-like and gets into the clearances of the chain, causing severe wear to the bushings and rollers.
Also, part of the chain goes underwater.
The slag changes the water into a strong alkaline or acidic state, which causes severe corrosion of the chain.
Therefore, the specifications place emphasis on measures to prevent wear and corrosion of the chain.
