How to fasten to the shaft

    • ・Key fastening: Applicable range: NEF02 to NEF700

      This is a fastening method using a general key. We have products with standard shaft holes processed to the new JIS standard key type available, so we can deliver them in a Quick delivery.

    Key fastening
    • ・Taper lock fastening (non-backlash): Applicable range: NEF04 to NEF25

      By using a special tapered lock hub, this friction fastening system achieves both high torque and compactness.
      Ideal for driving servo motors.

    Taper lock fastening
    • ・Clamp fastening (non-backlash): Applicable range: NEF02 to NEF45

      Friction fastening is possible with one bolt per hub. In addition, the bolt is fastened perpendicular to the shaft, reducing the space required in the axial direction.

    Clamp fastening
    • ・ Power-Lock fastening (non-backlash): Applicable range: NEF04 to NEF25

      This is a friction locking system that combines the EL series Power-Lock with a pressure flange. It can also be combined with other Power-Lock series.

Hub Type

  • ・Standard hub

    This is a standard hub that is commonly used.

  • ・ Extended Dia. Hub

    If the shaft diameter exceeds the maximum shaft hole diameter of a standard hub even though there is sufficient transmission capacity, you can use Extended Dia. Hub with a larger boss diameter H as shown in the diagram below, without having to increase the size.

  • ・ Long Hub

    If the key surface pressure is too high with a standard hub, you can reduce the key surface pressure by using Long Hub with hub length B as shown in the diagram below.

  • ・ Square hub

    This type is used in combination with Power-Lock EL Series and pressure flange. The tap for the pressure bolt is already machined.

Long spacer

  • ・Can be used with a floating shaft

    A floating shaft can be used when there is a distance between devices.

  • -Large allowable eccentricity

    Depending on the length, a large eccentricity can be tolerated.

  • ・Ideal for line shaft drives

    Suitable for line shaft drive in combination with Miter Gear Box.

  • -Long spacers are also available in stock

    We have long spacers of specific dimensions in stock, so we can deliver them to you without making you wait.The JS type has a well-balanced design equivalent to G6.3/1800 r/min.

  • - Hub end face distance (J dimension) up to 6m

    Hub face distances up to 6000mm are possible.
