Features
- The raised rib type, when combined with a transfer plate, eliminates gaps that occur at transfer points.
- This prevents the transported items from getting caught or entangled, allowing for smooth transfers.
In the case of a dead plate
In the case of a dead plate, the gap between the dead plate and the top surface of the chain changes as the chain moves up and down due to polygonal movement.
Depending on the shape of the transported item, it may get caught in this gap and fall over.
For transfer plates
In the case of a transfer plate, the comb of the transfer plate can be inserted between the ribs on the top surface of the chain to a position where it is not affected by polygonal movement.
This has the effect of preventing the transported items from tipping over.
