1. Fastening Principle
When two clamp collars are placed on the pulley hub and the clamping bolts are tightened with a force of F, the outer surface of the hub is subjected to a surface pressure P equivalent to a force of 4F all around.
It is pressed down and contracted.
The contracted inner surface of the hub tightly contacts the shaft, generating friction, which firmly fastens the shaft and pulley.This clamping mechanism is characterized by the fact that two tightening bolts tighten the hub with the force equivalent to four bolts, allowing for greater fastening force to be obtained with fewer bolts.
