Product Info Reducer

A reducer is a mechanical device that uses gears to reduce the rotational speed of the power obtained from the output shaft of a power source such as a motor and output it.

The ratio of the number of gear teeth on the input and output sides is the reduction ratio, and the output shaft can obtain torque that is inversely proportional to the reduction ratio.

We offer a lineup of three gear types: helical gears, hypoid gears, and worm gears. You can choose from the motor specifications, shaft arrangement (parallel shaft/ right-angle shaft), and output shaft shape (solid/hollow) that suit your purpose.

Types and Features of Gears

Our reducers use the following five types of gears. The features of each gear are as shown in the table below.

*Self-lock: A function possessed by worm gears that prevents the input shaft from rotating from the output shaft.
Generally, it has a single reduction stage with a reduction ratio of 1/60.

Small Gear Motor

This is a series of small gear motors that support motor capacities from 40W to 5.5kW.

This series uses three different types of gears: a parallel shaft type Gear Motor (helical gear), right-angle shaft type Hypoid Motor (hypoid gear), and Croise Motor (worm gear).

Hypoid Motor mini series

A small capacity hypoid gear motor ranging from 40W to 90W.

  • All models use an aluminum frame motor and silent brake, enabling compact, lightweight and quiet operation.
  • - There is no torque limit at low output rotations with high reduction ratio, and high torque is transmitted.
  • -Long life: Achieves an average lifespan of over 10,000 hours, the longest in its class.
  • - Flexible installation: The top and bottom installation pitches on the case are the same, making it easy to install in either direction.

This is right-angle shaft gear motor that achieves a high reduction ratio with single reduction and keeps the longitudinal dimension small.

It has excellent features such as quietness, self-locking properties, and a robust gear structure.

A compact, lightweight, quietly operating right-angle shaft worm reducer with motor.

  • - Because it is a worm gear, it operates very smoothly and quietly compared to other gear mechanisms.
    In addition, the brake is a silent type, so there is no harsh metallic sound when suctioning.
  • -Right-angle shaft and high reduction ratio contribute to space saving in equipment layout.
    The CSMA series achieves compactness in the motor longitudinal direction, while the HCMA series achieves compactness in the height direction.
  • - Backlash is smaller than with other gear mechanisms, so you can expect excellent stopping position accuracy.
  • - Compared to other gear mechanisms, worm gears have greater tooth root strength and are highly impact resistant.
