DCBL Hypoid Motor

Product Photos
  • This DCBL gear motor has a hypoid gear head and an orthogonal right-angle shaft for compactness.
Equipped with communication functions, it allows various controls.

  • Although it is called DCBL Hypoid Motor, it is a motor that is powered by an AC power source.
*It is called DCBL Hypoid Motor because of its operating principle.

  • *The motor and driver must be used together.

Features

  • -Excellent speed control

The motor's built-in Hall IC detects the rotation speed and provides feedback to the driver, ensuring stable operating speed even when the load fluctuates.

  • -High efficiency

DCBL Hypoid Motor use a permanent magnet in the rotor, so there is no need to pass an induced current through the stator like in induction motors, and because there are no sliding parts, they achieve efficiency equivalent to IE4 at the motor stand-alone level.

    High Efficiency Graph

High efficiency means less loss, and the motor's compact size makes the overall motor length approximately 38% smaller than an induction motor.
It also makes it possible to eliminate the need for a cooling fan, improving environmental resistance.

    Highly efficient volume
  • ・Tenacious torque

Combined with Tsubaki's hypoid gear, it maximizes the tenacious torque inherent in a motor that does not step out.

  • ・Wide variable speed range

The motor's rotational speed range is 100-2500 r/min, allowing for a wide range of speed changes from low to high, so this single unit can be used in devices that previously required changing the reduction ratio depending on the rotational speed.

  • -Built-in temperature sensor prevents burnout

A temperature sensor is built into the motor to constantly monitor the winding temperature, protecting the motor from burnout. This allows for safe use even in applications where the motor is started frequently.

  • ・The optimum drive source can be selected depending on the application

DCBL Hypoid Motor have been added as a third option, and it is now possible to select the optimum motor, such as a three-phase motor reducer or a servo motor reducer, depending on cost and required precision.

series

DCHM: A DCBL brushless gear motor with a hypoid gear head that pursues compactness with right-angle shaft.

Motor Capacity

The motor capacity.

Frame No.

This indicates the size of the reducer. For most models, this is the same value as the output shaft diameter.

It is automatically determined from the motor capacity and reduction ratio.

Mounting Type

H: The output shaft is hollow.

U: The output shaft is a solid type and is face mounted.

Reduction ratio

Indicates the reduction ratio.

Shaft arrangement

T: A type with a solid output shaft on both sides.

S: When the mounting format is face mount (U), the solid output shaft protrudes toward the mounting surface.

No symbol: If the mounting format is a hollow shaft type (H), the shaft arrangement symbol is not required.

Specification Code

No symbol: If there is a motor but no brake, or if there is no motor and it is a double-shaft type, no specification symbol is required.

B: Add this when a motor is equipped with a brake.
