Protects pins from pitting corrosion that occurs outdoors or in coastal areas
This chain (surface treatment) protects the pins from pitting corrosion corrosion, which is the starting point for fatigue failure, by applying a special surface treatment to the pins that does not reduce their strength.
It is extremely effective in environments where corrosion is likely to be accelerated, such as outdoors or on the coast.

The pins have been given a special surface treatment that does not reduce their strength, making them ideal for use along the sea or river, outdoors, or in applications where regular oiling is difficult.
-Same strength as RS roller chain

The tensile strength and allowable tension of APP Series chains are the same as standard steel RS roller chain, with no reduction in strength.
・Eco-friendly chrome-free

The special surface treatment does not use harmful hexavalent chromium.

It is necessary to select a sprocket specification that corresponds to the customer's operating environment and chain specifications.

A special sprocket is required for Surface treated drive chain with APP Series.
