  • Double pitch with 13Cr stainless steel pins, bushings and rollers (R rollers are 18-8 stainless steel).
  • It has a longer life than SS Series and has Maximum allowable load 1.8 times that of SS Series.
    However, corrosion resistance is slightly lower than that of SS Series.

Features and precautions

  • - Long-life stainless steel chain

    Longer life than SS Series (based on our test results).

    However, if the chain is constantly wet, such as underwater, it cannot be used as its wear life may be shorter than that of SS Series or AS Series.

  • -Maximum allowable load 1.8 times that of SS Series

    Maximum allowable load is 1.8 times that of SS Series. If the applied tension exceeds a certain level, a special sprocket is required.

  • ・Operating Ambient Temperature and atmosphere ・Corrosion resistance

    Corrosion resistance is slightly lower than that of SS Series. The operating temperature range is -20°C to 150°C, which is different from SS Series and AS Series.

When selecting sprocket specifications

It is necessary to select a sprocket specification that corresponds to the customer's operating environment and chain specifications.

For stainless steel Double pitch HS Series, please use standard stainless steel Double pitch sprockets with wear-resistant specifications.

If the sprocket has 30 or more teeth on the S roller, an RS sprocket can be used.
