overview
We were using a belt conveyor in our transport line, but prolonged use caused meandering and stretching, making frequent tension adjustments a challenge.
By upgrading the conveyor line to one using two Plastic top chain, we have eliminated meandering and achieved stable conveyance.
Switching to a chain system has significantly reduced the effort required for tension adjustment and also lowered the maintenance burden.
Furthermore, the friction noise during transport was reduced, leading to a quieter overall production line.
Problem
Previously, belt conveyors were used in the transport line, but the tension decreased due to the stretching of the belt itself, requiring frequent tension adjustments and increasing the burden of daily maintenance.
Furthermore, the serpentine movement caused contact noise and vibrations with the side panels, posing a challenge in terms of creating a quieter work environment.

By upgrading from a belt conveyor to a transport line using two Plastic top chain, the frequency of tension adjustments has been significantly reduced, leading to a reduction in maintenance time.
