Noodle making
Mixers and rolling mills
The dough is made by mixing flour, water, salt, and other ingredients in a mixing machine called a mixer. A rolling machine is used to roll out the dough thinly, gradually thinning it to give the noodles their elasticity.
Heavy duty drive chain and sprocket
Heavy duty drive chain have a higher allowable tension than Drive chain, allowing for size reduction and enabling compact equipment design even in confined spaces. We also offer the "TOUGH TOOTH" sprocket, which is ideally suited for Heavy duty drive chain.

Noodle making
steam locomotive
The thinly cut noodles are passed through a steamer. Because the noodle steamer creates a high-temperature steam atmosphere of nearly 100°C, small conveying chains made of various stainless steel materials are used to protect against high temperatures and corrosion.
Corrosion Resistant Small size conveyor chain
These attachment chains, made from a variety of materials, can be used in corrosive environments such as underwater, acids, and alkalis, as well as in special low and high temperature environments. A wide range of specifications are available, including SS Series using SUS304 equivalent material, and the LSK specification which offers high wear resistance and is resistant to heat and chemicals.
SS Series
This RS Attachment Chains is suitable for applications in special atmospheres such as underwater, acid, alkali, and low/high temperatures (-20°C to 400°C).
Corrosion prevention specifications
By changing the chain material, we can also accommodate specifications that improve corrosion resistance and reduce stress corrosion cracking.
- NS Series (SUS316)
- Special SUS specifications
LSK specifications
By using special engineering plastic bushings that are highly resistant to wear, chain wear and elongation are suppressed, resulting in a longer lifespan and reduced initial elongation.
Special specifications for rollers
Specially designed rollers reduce wear resistance, significantly lowering chain tension.
- SUS Roller Special Specifications
- Plastic Roller KV specifications

Fryer/Dryer
For fried noodles, the steamed noodles are cut into individual portions, placed in molds, and deep-fried. Here too, double pitch chain and jack systems utilizing Linipower Jack, couplings, and Miter Gear Box are used for opening and closing lids during equipment cleaning. For non-fried noodles, instead of deep-frying, they are dried using high-temperature hot air.
Fryer
Jack system
By arranging multiple jacks in a coordinated manner, tailored to the size of the lifting section and the load conditions, a mechanically synchronized, accurate, and stable lifting device can be achieved. Tsubaki selects not only Linipower Jack, but also the entire jacking system, including the gearbox, coupling, and drive unit. *Estimate drawings and layout diagrams are also provided.

Lube free small size conveyor chain
Lambda Chain, which can be used Lube-free, are proving invaluable for high-temperature applications and preventing corrosion during cleaning.
Lambda Chain KF Series
Lambda Chain KF Series uses bushing impregnation oil that resists volatilization and deterioration even at room temperature to high-temperature environments (especially 150°C to 230°C). This chain offers a long service life even in environments where lubrication is not possible. The special oil-impregnated bushings use NSF H1 certified oil, making it suitable for food transport.
Lambda Chain stainless steel specification
To prevent rust on the chain plates caused by moisture generated from the noodles during the drying process, we can also accommodate specifications using special stainless steel for the plates.

Introducing the power monitoring protection device "Shock Monitor"
Shock Monitor is Electrical control device that outputs a relay signal when a set load level is reached.
Shock Monitor, which are power-monitoring type electrical control devices, can detect even minute load fluctuations caused by things like chain lubrication shortages, and can notify you of lubrication shortages or when it's time to refuel.
Noodle making
accumulator
Accumulators are mechanisms that hold workpieces to ensure that noodles are accurately placed into containers after drying and cooling, and to prevent production from stopping in the preceding process if there is a problem in the subsequent process.
Lube-free chain, Tsubaki Lambda Chain
Because the accumulator is located close to the product, lubrication is difficult. Tsubaki Lambda Chain uses NSF H1 compliant lubricant, intended for food machinery, as standard in its special oil-impregnated bushings, contributing to food safety.
Lambda Chain Basic Structure
Lambda Chain can be used for a long time even Lube-free, thanks to the effect of special oil-impregnated bushings.
What is NSF H1?
NSF is an organization that certifies the safety of lubricants for food processing machinery.
NSF H1 is a standard defined by NSF, and it is a lubricant that can be used in areas where accidental contact with food may occur.

Sprocket with wear limit markings for the food industry
While the chain's condition is monitored, the sprocket's condition may not be fully understood. Sprockets with wear limit marks are designed to show the wear limit on the tooth surface (through hole machining and special ink coloring) so that the wear status can be seen at a glance. This helps to guide replacement times, reduce maintenance time, and extend the chain's lifespan.

Cup machine
This is the process of pouring cooled noodles into cups. High-precision intermittent operation is required to dispense each cup accurately.
Tsubaki products are used in cup machines
In the process of dispensing cooled noodles into cups, Tsubaki's Bearing Bush Chain is used to ensure precise dispensing of each noodle one by one. Furthermore, due to the long conveyor length and the inability to lubricate near the product, Lube-free and long-life X-Lambda is also used.

Transportation and other
Plastic modular chain which are easier to use than belt conveyors, are employed for transporting packaged products and cardboard boxes. In addition, other related equipment includes Tsubaki's proprietary linear actuator, Zip Chain Actuator, and a new product reduction gear specifically designed for lightweight conveying conveyors.
Plastic modular chain
Compared to a belt conveyor...
- Because it's sprocket-driven, it's less prone to swerving or slipping.
- Because it has a link structure, partial repairs are possible, and maintenance is easy.
- Due to its lower friction characteristics compared to belts, it is less likely to scratch the transported items.
- It has no fraying at the edges, is wear-resistant, and has a long lifespan.
