Linear Actuator

overview

By using Zip Chain Actuator in the lifting mechanism of equipment that stacks packaged transported goods on pallets, we have achieved lifting speeds and takt times that even High lead ball screw type screw jacks could not achieve.

Additionally, the related equipment includes Linipower Jack, Miter Gear Box, coupling, and gear motor set for adjusting the height of the pallets in the subsequent process.

Problem

The stacking process requires not only a fast lifting speed but also a short takt time, and it was difficult to find an actuator that matched the desired speed and frequency.

Adopted products

Zip Chain Actuator

The interlocking chain (Zip Chain) is a chain developed exclusively by our company in which two chains interlock like a zipper to form one strong rod that can be "pushed and pulled."

Zip Chain Actuator is a completely new linear actuator that uses this mechanism.

Zip Chain can be stored in a compact case, achieving overwhelming space savings compared to conventional linear actuator.

It is compatible with high-speed, high-frequency operation and uses significantly less power than hydraulic or pneumatic cylinders. It is capable of high-precision multi-point stopping and can be installed in any direction.

Jack linked operation and peripheral equipment selection service

We will select and propose not only jacks but also gearboxes, couplings, and drive units. We will also prepare quotation drawings and layout diagrams, so please feel free to use our services.

Benefits of adopting the product

We were presented with proposals for Zip Chain Actuator and Linispeed Jack as devices that could achieve the desired speed and frequency of lifting and lowering, but ultimately decided on Zip Chain Actuator due to their compact size at the lower limit of the stroke, which enabled us to achieve a low-profile lifting mechanism.

Additionally, we were able to reduce design man-hours by having Tsubaki select all the equipment required for the jack system used to adjust the pallet height.

Tsubaki will do its utmost to support you in solving any problems you may have.
