By replacing the wire method with Zip Chain Actuator for raising and lowering the hanging unit that transfers products coming down the conveyor onto a pallet, we were able to achieve space savings in the vertical direction.
Problem
Previously, a hanging system using a wire was used, but a mechanism for winding the wire was required, which required space to be secured above the ceiling of the hanging unit. Therefore, we were looking for a compact lifting mechanism so that the device could be adopted by end users with low ceilings.

The interlocking chain (Zip Chain) is a chain developed exclusively by our company in which two chains interlock like a zipper to form one strong rod that can be "pushed and pulled."
Zip Chain Actuator is a completely new linear actuator that uses this mechanism.
Zip Chain can be stored in a compact case, achieving overwhelming space savings compared to conventional linear actuator.
It is compatible with high-speed, high-frequency operation and uses significantly less power than hydraulic or pneumatic cylinders. It is capable of high-precision multi-point stopping and can be installed in any direction.
Benefits of adopting the product
By adopting Zip Chain Actuator the mechanism required to raise and lower the hanging unit has become more compact, realizing the challenge of reducing the space required for the ceiling of the device.
This has enabled us to reduce the overall height of the device, making it possible for end users who had height restrictions to adopt it.
