overview

By adopting DCBL Hypoid Motor that allows two units to operate synchronously and changing the chain conveyor from a single-axis drive to a dual-axis drive, the chain stretch that was an issue with the single-axis drive system has been reduced, and the frequency of maintenance work has also been reduced.

Problem

Previously, chain conveyors were used with a single-axis drive, but the tension on the chain was large due to the weight of the conveyed items, the length of the line, and the load at start-up and shutdown, causing the chain to stretch relatively early after starting operation.

As a result, the chain required frequent adjustment and replacement, which not only increased the amount of maintenance work required but also affected the operational stability of the conveyor.

Adopted products

DCBL Hypoid Motor

This DCBL Hypoid Motor has a hypoid gear head and an orthogonal right-angle shaft for compactness.

Brake-equipped models are also available as standard models. Equipped with communication functions, it allows for various controls.

It has excellent speed control and is less susceptible to load fluctuations, achieving stable rotation speeds.

The speed control range is wide at 1:25, allowing operation from low to high speeds.

Benefits of adopting the product

We have adopted DCBL Hypoid Motor that allows two units to operate synchronously, and changed from the previous single-axis drive to a two-axis drive system.

This structure distributes the tension applied to the entire chain, significantly reducing the load acting on the chain and improving its durability against elongation. This not only reduces the frequency of maintenance, but also improves the operational stability of the entire device.

In addition, the reduced load makes it possible to reduce the size of the chain, which is expected to reduce costs when replacing it.
