The adoption of Lambda Chain contributes to the factory's compliance with food safety standards.
Lambda Chain
overview
In food slicers, Lambda Chain has been adopted for the drive chain of the cutter that cuts food.
Because Lambda Chain uses food-grade oil in its special oil-impregnated bush, it is easy to adopt as a chain for use in food processing machinery, contributing to compliance with food safety standards in factories.
Problem
We were using general-purpose chains Lube-free for use in food processing machinery, but we had a problem with the chain's lifespan due to wear.
Furthermore, even if the chains were to be lubricated before use, the lubricating oil used in the factory had to be food-grade machinery oil in order to obtain FSSC 22000 food safety system certification.
Adopted products
Lambda Chain
Thanks to special oil-impregnated bush, Lambda Chain can be used for a long time Lube-free.
Both the inner and outer plates are blackened to give them some corrosion resistance and a luxurious finish.
Because it uses NSF H1* compliant lubricant, it can also be used in food processing machinery.
- NSF H1 is a standard established by NSF that states, "Lubricants can be used in areas where accidental contact with food may occur."
Benefits of adopting the product
Lambda Chain, with its special oil-impregnated bush and NSF H1 certified food-grade machinery oil, contributed to the factory's compliance with FSSC 22000 food safety system certification.
Furthermore, thanks to special oil-impregnated bush, wear can be suppressed even when used Lube-free, leading to a longer chain lifespan.
