Electric cylinders are used to raise and lower the containers of the agitator in the secondary battery line
Power Cylinder
overview
In secondary battery production lines, there are many cases where the use of certain materials is restricted to prevent metal contamination.
Tsubaki's electric power Power Cylinder allow you to change the material of the exposed parts for the secondary battery industry. What's more, servo motor drive allows for precise lifting and lowering control of the mixing vessel.
Problem
When selecting the drive unit that raises and lowers the container of the mixing device, the issue was that parts made of standard materials would not meet the corresponding standards due to the use of specific substances.
This required a specially designed drive unit that could meet the strict environmental requirements of secondary battery manufacturing and provide both long-term durability and safety.
Adopted products
Power Cylinder T Series
This is an electric cylinder in the medium thrust zone with a rated thrust of 2.45kN or more that can be used with AC (alternating current) power.
Thrust is available from 2.45kN to 39.2kN, and speed is available from 9mm/s to 120mm/s.
All models use a highly efficient Ball screw, a quiet deceleration unit, and a highly reliable brake motor.
Each series has a highly reliable built-in safety device that works effectively against overloads.
Outdoor use is possible as standard (motor protection class IP55).
Benefits of adopting the product
Tsubaki's electric power Power Cylinder can meet the strict material requirements for container lifting applications in agitator equipment on secondary battery production lines by customizing the materials of the exposed parts.
Furthermore, the system is also capable of high-precision position control using servo motor drive, which allows for accurate control of the lifting position of the mixing tank, contributing to improved stability and reproducibility of manufacturing quality.
Tsubaki will do its utmost to support you in solving any problems you may have.
