By offering a combined lifting and rotating solution, we significantly reduced the man-hours required for design and manufacturing.
Pin gear drive unit, Lift Master, reducer
overview
The tank lifting, rotating, and tilting device used in the material loading process employs Lift Master, Pin gear drive unit, and gear motors necessary for each operation.
The tank containing the material is raised and lowered to a predetermined height by Lift Master, and Pin gear drive unit rotates the base of the device and tilts the tank.
This allows for a series of mechanisms to adjust the tank's height, change its orientation, and tilt it to match the loading location.
By selecting Tsubaki products for all drive units—lifting, swivel, and tilting—we were able to simplify the equipment layout and reduce design and manufacturing man-hours.
Problem
Devices that raise, lower, rotate, and tilt tanks often require the combination of multiple drive units, which tends to complicate the design process.
Furthermore, this study required a simple layout that would minimize interference with surrounding facilities within the limited space.
Adopted products
Pin gear drive Unit
Pin gear drive unit is ideal for the container's rotation and reversal mechanism.
Compared to gears, it allows for more flexible installation. Furthermore, the segmented design allows for manufacturing in any size, increasing design flexibility.
Lift Master
This is a cantilever lifter with a built-in screw and guide.
The no-assembly, place-and-set-up design is proving extremely popular.
You can choose between Ball screw and Trapezoidal Screw, and fall prevention measures are also available.
Reducers
We offer three gear types: helical gears, hypoid gears, and worm gears. You can choose the motor specifications, shaft configuration (parallel/ right-angle shaft), and output shaft shape (solid/hollow) that best suit your needs.
Benefits of adopting the product
Because we were able to select all the drive components for lifting, slewing, and tilting—including Lift Master, Pin gear drive unit, and reduction gear—from Tsubaki products, we were able to significantly reduce the man-hours required for designing and manufacturing the equipment.
Furthermore, by adopting Lift Master, the tank lifting section was designed into a slim, vertical structure, resulting in a simple layout that minimizes interference with surrounding equipment.
Tsubaki will do its utmost to support you in solving any problems you may have.
