overview

Stainless steel Top chain Top chain were used in the baking process area of food production lines to transport baking trays, but they were heavy and required a lot of effort to lift and handle when replacing them, which was an issue.

Therefore, we upgraded to a heat-resistant Plastic top chain that is lighter, easier to handle, and can withstand high-temperature environments.

The lightweight chain has significantly reduced the burden during maintenance, and replacement work that previously required multiple people can now be done safely by a small number of people.

Thanks to its heat resistance, it can stably handle the temperature conditions required in the bread manufacturing process.

Problem

Until now, stainless steel Top chain have been used in the baking process area of food production lines to transport baking trays.

However, because the chains are made of stainless steel, each one is heavy, and regular maintenance and replacement work requires multiple personnel, which poses major challenges in terms of both workload and man-hours.

Replacement work requires a certain amount of man-hours, which can increase production line downtime, so reducing the workload was an issue.

Given these circumstances, there was a need to switch to a conveyor chain that was lighter, easier to handle, and could withstand high-temperature environments.

Adopted products

Plastic top chain TTUP Type

A standard type of curved conveyor Plastic top chain with a simple structure that is easy to clean.

The same sprockets as the TPS and TPU types can be used, allowing for common parts.

In addition to heat-resistant and high-speed specifications (specification code: KV), various other specifications are available.

Benefits of adopting the product

By switching to a heat-resistant Plastic top chain, the overall weight of the chain has been reduced, significantly reducing the burden of handling during maintenance.

Replacement work that previously required multiple people can now be done safely by a small number of people, leading to shorter work times.

In addition, its heat-resistant specifications allow it to withstand high-temperature environments, so it can be used safely under the temperature conditions required around the firing process.
