overview

By adopting Power Cylinder for the door opening and closing mechanism, it became possible to electrify the system without using hydraulic equipment, eliminating the need for oil management and piping inspections. Furthermore, the combination with a link mechanism enables stable opening and closing control, and smooth operation is also possible when used with an inverter.

Problem

Conventional door opening and closing devices often utilize hydraulic equipment and complex mechanisms, resulting in a significant burden of maintenance work, such as regular oil changes and leak checks.

Adopted products

Power Cylinder T Series

This is an electric cylinder in the medium thrust zone with a rated thrust of 2.45kN or more that can be used with AC (alternating current) power.

Featuring a powerful load-holding brake motor, a low-noise gear reduction unit, a highly efficient Ball screw developed for cylinders, a safety mechanism to protect the mating device, and a wide range of options, it can be used for any application. Outdoor use is possible as standard. (Motor protection rating IP55)

Benefits of adopting the product

By adopting Power Cylinder, hydraulic equipment is no longer required, eliminating potential problems such as oil leaks and pipe deterioration. Because it is electrically driven, there are fewer inspection points, significantly reducing the time and effort required for daily and periodic maintenance. Furthermore, soft start and soft stop control in combination with an inverter enables smooth speed control.
