overview
We have introduced AGVs to supply parts from the warehouse to each production line. By installing a conveyor on top of this AGV, it has become possible to automatically transfer the transported items.
WinCS mini is used for the conveyor mounted on the AGV. The conveyor uses Plastic modular chain, making maintenance easier.
Problem
When the conveyor on the AGV is a roller conveyor, if the bottom of the plastic box being transported swells over time, the installation surface becomes smaller and the rollers are no longer able to spin freely.
Additionally, it was anticipated that belt conveyors would require a lot of labor for maintenance.

Since WinCS mini is a standardized conveyor, no design is required and the conveyor can be arranged simply by selecting the model number.
This can solve problems that arise when using belt conveyors, such as time-consuming maintenance and frequent replacement due to short lifespan.
