Reviewing materials and specifications has resulted in a longer life in environments exposed to water and cleaning solutions.
Integrated Attachment Chain
overview
To address the issues of insufficient corrosion resistance and procurement costs of overseas-made chains with jigs (slats) used in environments exposed to water and cleaning solutions, we adopted Integrated Attachment Chain and modified the material of the jigs and the specifications of the chains.
Problem
The chains with jigs (slats) made overseas that we were using for product transport had poor corrosion resistance in the jigs (slats) of the overseas-made chains, resulting in frequent replacement due to rust.
Furthermore, sourcing from overseas required significant time and cost for ordering, delivery management, and transportation.
Adopted products
Integrated Attachment Chain
Integrated Attachment Chain is a chain with special attachments from Tsubaki, where the jigs and attachments that customers previously installed themselves are integrated into the chain itself.
We propose chains with specially shaped attachments that meet all of our customers' needs. By incorporating these specially shaped attachments during chain manufacturing, we reduce the time and effort required for jig production and installation, contributing to overall cost reduction.
Benefits of adopting the product
By changing the jig (slat) to a corrosion-resistant material and the base chain to a corrosion-resistant specification, rust resistance has been reduced, resulting in a longer chain lifespan and a decrease in the frequency of replacement.
Furthermore, by switching to domestically produced chains, we were able to shorten delivery and reduce costs.
Tsubaki will do its utmost to support you in solving any problems you may have.
