As the maintenance and replacement of the conventional general-purpose belt conveyors takes time, we considered using Plastic modular chain to reduce the amount of work required, and were able to create a modular chain conveyor by simply reusing the frame of the belt conveyor.
Problem
It took a lot of time to change and adjust the belts on the belt conveyor.
Furthermore, the location where the replacement was being considered was at a high altitude, which meant that maintenance required additional man-hours.
Adopted products
Plastic modular chain WT0705-W type
Standard series (specification) minimum chain pitch WT0700 series
When combined with the nose bar, it achieves a dead space of 19mm.
Ideal for stable transport of items that are prone to losing their shape and for transporting small items.

By using Plastic modular chain for the belt conveyor, maintenance and belt replacement have become easier.
