Linispeed Jack has been adopted for induction hardening equipment for mass-produced parts. Driven by a servo motor, it moves up and down at high speed and with high precision, enabling stable handling of part transport with a short tact time of one part per 15 seconds. This has resulted in an improvement in the tact time of the entire equipment.

Furthermore, by suppressing variations in the stopping position, the hardening conditions are stabilized, which results in a reduction in the defect rate.


Problem

In this continuous induction hardening process, the jack is raised and lowered at a high frequency of one stroke every 15 seconds, and even a slight deviation in the stopping position causes uneven hardening. With the conventional hydraulic method, it is difficult to achieve both high speed and positional accuracy, which leads to issues such as quality variations and defects.

This is Ball screw lifting unit that can make the most of the performance of the servo motor.

Linispeed Jack achieves a maximum operating speed of 200 mm/s and a maximum Percentage duty cycle of 100% ED, enabling improved productivity of the equipment.

Even when operating at higher speeds, the jack is smaller than conventional jacks, and the newly developed structure allows for a low profile, contributing to more compact equipment.
