Replacing the chains in bucket elevators presents challenges in terms of safety and labor costs due to the need for work at heights in the head section and in confined spaces within the tail section pit.
By adopting Screw Lock Link that can be easily cut and joined with just a torque wrench, we were able to drastically reduce the labor, cost, and risk involved in chain replacement work.
Problem
Replacing the chains in bucket elevators presents challenges in terms of worker safety and workload, as work on the head section must be performed at height, and work inside the tail section pit must be performed in confined spaces.

This connecting link makes it possible for anyone to easily perform the dangerous and technically demanding cut and connect of Large size conveyor chain with just a torque wrench.
Since cut and connect can be done with just a torque wrench, dangerous hammer work is unnecessary.
The tapered structure of the plate allows for accurate positioning, and proper connection can be achieved simply by tightening the nut to the specified torque.
