The labor and cost required to replace cast sprockets in the conveying equipment used in the pellet manufacturing process was a challenge. In particular, because the main body is large, the removal work is extensive, and a large number of manpower and man-hours are required for replacement.
Therefore, by upgrading to a replaceable tooth sprocket, which allows only the tooth portion to be replaced, it can be replaced without removing the shaft from the next time onwards, simplifying maintenance work and reducing the number of people required. It also eliminates the need to arrange for molds, which has led to stable operation of the cooling process and improved maintainability while reducing upgrade costs.
Problem
The sprockets in the conveying device in the pellet manufacturing process needed to be replaced.
