We have reviewed the conventional conveyor-based transport method and changed to a multi-joint robot transport method that transports cells in groups rather than one cell at a time.

ROBOTRAX was adopted to support and protect the external wiring and air tubes used in this robot.


Problem

In the secondary battery manufacturing process, which operates under harsh operating conditions, high levels of protection were required to avoid downtime caused by disconnections or damage to the robot's cables and tubes.

Cable Carrier (CABLEVEYOR) Plastic Series 3D TKRB Type

This type allows Cable Carrier (CABLEVEYOR) body to move in three dimensions.

High allowable tension is achieved by incorporating a wire.

It is suitable for robots that operate in three dimensions.


Benefits of adopting the product

ROBOTRAX's link body is designed to restrict bending, protecting cables from excessive bending.

Furthermore, since the wire runs through the center, even if the robot gets caught on something while moving, there is no need to worry as excessive tension will not be placed on the cables.
