Selection Guide Cam Clutch

One-way clutch - Cam clutch -

This is a mechanical non-backlash one-way clutch with an arrangement of multiple cams.

  • ・High precision achieved through advanced processing using specialized machines
  • - Unique heat-treated cam
    Excellent durability
  • ・Reliable operation and high reliability

Single-revolution clutch -SR clutch-

This clutch allows a simple lever operation to give one or an integer number of revolutions from the continuously rotating outer race (drive side) to inner race (load side).

  • - Excellent responsiveness
  • ・Reliable engagement
  • ・Stop position is fixed
  • ・Excellent durability

The cam clutch engages or spins freely depending on the rotation direction and speed difference between inner race and outer race.

outer race is given a reciprocating motion at a fixed angle, causing the cam clutch to continuously alternate between engagement and idling, thereby achieving intermittent feeding.

It is used to prevent the rotation shaft from rotating in reverse. It continues to rotate freely while the shaft is rotating forward, and engages when the shaft tries to rotate in reverse to prevent the shaft from rotating in reverse.
