Previously, purchased gears were assembled into gearboxes in-house, but in order to reduce the labor required for assembly, the company considered purchasing the gears as complete gearboxes.
Tsubaki's worm reducer, Troi Drive TD series, is used.

Troi Drive is a high-performance worm that uses Troidal Worm Gear to achieve both high transmission capacity and high efficiency.
Two types of cases are available: a solid output shaft type with Foot mount and a hollow output shaft type with shaft and flange mounting.
We promise ultimate compactness and lightweight design for all layouts.
Benefits of adopting the product
Naturally, this was more expensive than purchasing the gear set, case, and bearings separately, but by switching to Troi Drive TD series, we no longer needed to perform tedious backlash adjustments, and we were able to reduce the amount of work required to assemble the gearbox.
