There was a lifter that raised and lowered AGVs from the second to the third floor of the building, but the decision was made to remove the conventional hydraulic scissor lifter in order to renovate the production line and expand production capacity. In place of this, the decision was made to adopt Zip Master as a new mechanism, which perfectly meets the requirements for a stroke of over 4m and stopping precision.
Problem
The plan was to raise and lower an AGV weighing 350 kg including the load at a high speed of 48 m/min. Other methods that were considered included a wire winch and Ball screw, but with Long travel length of over 4 m, it would be difficult to implement the required stop system with a wire winch, and using Ball screw would be technically difficult.

This is a cantilevered electric high-speed lifter that integrates a Zip Chain, linear guide, and motor.
Unlike conventional elevators that require assembly work, Zip Master 's "plug and play type" design means you can simply place it and use it.
It is ideal for high-speed, high-frequency, and high-lift applications, contributing to improved productivity of equipment and facilities.
Benefits of adopting the product
Zip Master perfectly met the required specifications in terms of speed and stopping accuracy, even with a stroke of over 4m.
The frame post and guide, as well as the drive Zip Chain are all integrated into the product, so there was no need to assemble each part on-site, making installation extremely easy.
We had initially considered using an electric lifter because the speeds it could operate at were too fast for a hydraulic lifter, but as a result, we were able to solve the problem of oil leakage that occurs when using a hydraulic lifter.
