There was a need to add a lifting mechanism to change the height at which transported items could be transferred to an existing production line.

To avoid large-scale modifications to the line, we devised a configuration in which a roller conveyor is attached to Lift Master which is an easy-to-install "just put it on" type.

However, a new challenge arose: protecting the power lines and sensor cables that move as the conveyor moves up and down. Measures were essential to prevent interference with peripheral equipment due to cable slack, and the risk of cable breakage due to improper bending. In addition to selecting Lift Master unit, the company also had to select an appropriate Cable Carrier (CABLEVEYOR), and even design the mounting base and consider the layout in-house, which required a huge amount of design work, making it a barrier to implementation.

We selected the "Lift Master" lifting mechanism and the "TKP Cable Carrier (CABLEVEYOR)" for cable protection, and adopted a package proposal that included the design of the mounting base for both.

The cantilevered "Lift Master" with a built-in lifting mechanism in a highly rigid frame allows for space-saving installation without requiring major changes to the layout of existing lines.

Installation can be done simply by placing it on the table, which reduces the amount of time required for installation.

At the same time, the lightweight "TKP Series Cable Carrier (CABLEVEYOR)" is used, which is available in a wide range of sizes, and the multi-stage partitions are used to provide optimal protection against interference from multiple cables and bending loads.

Not only was we able to select the individual devices, but we were also able to handle complex interference checks and the design of a dedicated mounting base, which significantly reduced our in-house design man-hours and enabled a smooth start-up on the existing line.
