Rubber Sheet Extruder -Troid Troi Drive

This reducer uses Troidal toroidal worm gear to achieve high transmission capacity and high efficiency.
Used in combination with Trapezoidal Screw to adjust the clearance between rolls. As there is little rotational unevenness, the positioning accuracy of the rollers is improved.
In addition, the self-locking feature reduces load repulsion, reducing motor trouble.

Material process

The rubber sheets produced in the mixing (refining) process are processed into the components that make up the tire, such as the tread and carcass.
The tread cooling conveyor uses a plastic Plastic modular chain, and the calender roll uses Linipower Jack R, which allows for stable positioning and reliable load retention.

  • Tread
    This is the component that comes into contact with the road surface and is processed to the optimal thickness and shape.
  • Carcass
    This is a component that forms the framework of the tire, and is a sheet with a cord layer covered with rubber.
  • Bead part
    It is made of bundled piano wire, etc., and is useful for securing the carcass and the wheel.

Calender Roll -Linipower Jack-

Calendar Roll

A rubber sheet that has been rolled in the previous process is pressed onto the cord layer and then re-rolled into a thin sheet with a consistent thickness.

This jack is made up of a combination of Trapezoidal Screw or Ball screw and a worm gear.

Molding process

The tread, carcass, beads, and other components that make up a tire are gathered, wrapped around a drum, and then molded into the shape of the tire. The tire molded in this process is soft and is called a green tire.
The parts feeder uses Tsubaki's Plastic modular chain and Power Cylinder.

Vulcanization process

The green tires produced during the molding process are placed in a mold and heated and pressurized (vulcanized) to create tires with strong elasticity. This process also creates grooves (tread pattern) on the tread that contacts the ground.
Tsubaki's Cable Carrier (CABLEVEYOR) are used to protect the cables of the vulcanizing machine, and AUTRAN VANGUARD, which run along the ceiling, are used for the conveying equipment.

Vulcanizer

The raw tire (green tire) is placed into a mold with a tread pattern and stamping, and then heated and pressurized.

Tsubaki's Cable Carrier (CABLEVEYOR) allow electrical cables to pass through the body, reliably supporting and guiding the cables between the moving device and the fixed end.
