Reduces conveyor chain running resistance when transporting heavy loads, improving wear life
Bearing Roller Conveyor Chain
overview
As the shift to EVs increases vehicle weight, issues arise, such as increased running resistance on conveyor chains, increased motor load, and increased maintenance costs due to chain wear.
By adopting Bearing Roller Conveyor Chain, we have achieved a significant reduction in running resistance, extending the chain's lifespan and reducing maintenance costs.
Problem
In the transport of electric vehicles, there is a shift from the conventional single-tire transport to double-tire transport in order to prevent the generation of back electromotive force due to the difference in rotation between the left and right axles. However, the increase in vehicle weight due to the shift to EVs continues to pose challenges, such as increased chain running resistance, increased load on the motor, and increased maintenance frequency due to chain wear.
Adopted products
Bearing Roller Conveyor Chain Standard Specifications
This is a conveyor chain with cylindrical bearing placed between the rollers and bushings.
It has a wear life approximately five times longer than general-purpose products (DT Series), requires approximately one-third the motor power, and can reduce chain size by two sizes.
The dimensions are the same as the R and F rollers of standard conveyor chains.
Benefits of adopting the product
The introduction of Bearing Roller Conveyor Chain has significantly reduced the chain's running resistance, significantly improving wear life and reducing the frequency of regular maintenance and chain replacement, leading to lower maintenance costs.
Furthermore, the low running resistance reduces the load on the motor, resulting in energy savings.
