The gripper is...
1. → Pinch the film and lower it down.
2. → Move sideways to release the film.
3. → Move sideways and go up.
4. → Close again to grab the film.
A certain amount of tension is applied to prevent the film from sagging when the gripper releases it, and this can cause the film to reverse.
To address this issue, we have used the BB series and installed a reverse prevention mechanism.
Advantages of using a Cam Clutch
- - It combines the functions of a one-way clutch and a bearing in a small space, allowing for effective use of space.
- - By arranging a large number of cams between outer race, it is possible to transmit larger torque than with a shell-type roller clutch.
