technical data Large size conveyor chain Structure and Roller Types
Large size conveyor chain are manufacturer-specific conveyor chains that do not conform to ISO standards and are made specifically for transporting customers' transported goods.
Therefore, chain dimensions may vary depending on the chain manufacturer.
Large size conveyor chain structure
The chain body consists of five parts: pins, bushings, rollers, and inner and outer plates.
The basic structure is the same as that of Drive chain.
| Features of Large size conveyor chain structure | |
|---|---|
| Roller | -There are three types of rollers: R roller, F roller, and S/M/N roller. |
| Inner and outer plates | -Flat shape. |
| Sprocket | ・A special sprocket is required. |
Roller types and features
1. R Roller
The outer diameter of the roller is larger than the width of the plate.
This is the most basic and versatile format.
The rollers have a large load capacity and low friction resistance.
2. F Roller
A flange is attached to the roller to act as a rolling guide. The flange is attached to the T-pin side.
Easily prevents lateral vibration. Suitable for standard slat conveyors. When using the K attachment, please note that the mounting part may come into contact with the roller flange.
3. S, M, N Roller
This has the effect of reducing impact and wear when the sprockets engage. Although the rolling resistance is greater than that of R rollers and F rollers, it allows for weight reduction.
- S: Roller outer diameter is smaller than plate width
- M: Roller outer diameter is slightly larger than S roller
- N: Strengthened type with the same roller outer diameter as the M roller but with a larger pin diameter
