Standard installation

Support roller installation

■Applicable types - TK type, TKH type, TKS type, TKP type, TKR type, TKQ type, TKMK type, TKMT type, TKC type (travel speed 150 m/min or less)

*This can also be applied to the TKUA type. Please contact us if you are considering this.

■ In the case of one support roller (S1: travel length) - The allowable travel length is 1.5 times that when there is no support roller. (Excluding the TKR type Note) 1)

■ With two support rollers (S2: travel length) - The allowable travel length is twice that of when there are no support rollers (excluding the TKR type Note 1).

Note) The installation interval (L) of the support rollers for the TKR type should be as follows:

  • TKR15H22: L=0.35m or less
  • TKR20H28: L=0.7m or less
  • TKR26H40: L=0.7m or less
  • TKR28H52: L=0.9m or less

Note: Depending on travel length, three or more support rollers may be required.

Installation with support plate

■Applicable type - TKC type (travel speed 60m/min or less) *If you are considering a type other than the TKC type, please contact us.

(S2: travel length) - The allowable travel length is twice that without the support plate.

Note: When support rollers or support plates are included, the moving end bracket cannot be installed upside down compared to the diagram above (as the moving end bracket will interfere with the rollers or plates).

Gliding arrangement

■Applicable models: TKP type, TKC type, TKMK type, TKMT type

*This can also be applied to the TKUA type. Please contact us if you are considering this.

Features This is a special installation method used for long strokes that exceed Allowable load graph when two support rollers are installed.
In principle, the moving end fittings are specially designed and differ from the standard. The moving end installation height is also different from the standard.

Guide Method Stepped rails are required to guide the flexible Cable Carrier (CABLEVEYOR) as it travels.
The left and right gap between Cable Carrier (CABLEVEYOR) and guide channel must be smaller than in standard installation.

Combination installation

■Applicable formats - all types

*Please pay attention to the length so as not to put strain on Cable Carrier (CABLEVEYOR).

Features
  • - Used for two-dimensional movement forward and backward and up and down.
  • - This also applies when moving back and forth and the moving end height is set higher than the standard.
  • Use standard products.
Travel length Same as standard installation (However, support rollers cannot be used.)

Guide Method
remarks Cable Carrier (CABLEVEYOR) length will be longer than in the case of a standard installation. Please determine the length taking into consideration the inclined portion.
Pay particular attention to Leeway length when reversing.

Vertical installation

■ Applicable models - Models other than TKS type

-Used when Cable Carrier (CABLEVEYOR) moves vertically (up and down).

-Guide channel are required on both sides to prevent Cable Carrier (CABLEVEYOR) from shaking or tipping over.

■Inverted U-shape

Features -This is an installation method in which the unit is used upright.
- The mass of the cable/hose is concentrated at the apex of bending radius, so it is not suitable for Long travel length.

Guide Method
  • ・ Guide channel must be long enough on both the moving and fixed sides to prevent it from tipping over. Please contact us if you need to shorten it.
  • - If the distance between the moving end and the fixed end is wider than the standard, it will not be an inverted U shape but will be an irregular shape.
    Adjust the length of the cable/hose so that it fits comfortably inside Cable Carrier (CABLEVEYOR), then clamp both ends.
  • -Cable Carrier (CABLEVEYOR) has a slight bulge in the straight section.
    Depending on the conditions of use, swelling may occur after installation, so please ensure there is sufficient space.
remarks
  • - The TK and TKH types use a special pin (horizontal pin) that reduces the bulge in the free span section.
  • - For the TK and TKH types, the supporter dimensions (height) may be larger than usual.

■U-shape

Features This is an installation method for hanging the unit.
As this is a tensile load, the selection graph cannot be used. Please refer to the selection guideline table.

Guide Method
  • - Adjust the length and clamp both ends of the cable/hose so that the weight is not concentrated at the lowest point of bending radius.
  • - Make sure the cables and hoses are floating and not resting on the arms or supporters.
  • -guide channel are installed on both sides to prevent shaking.
    The fixed end is the same length as the standard installation, and the moving end is 2 to 3 links long. Please contact us if you need to make it shorter.
  • -Cable Carrier (CABLEVEYOR) has a slight bulge in the straight section.
    Depending on the conditions of use, swelling may occur after installation, so please ensure there is sufficient space.

Features Cable Carrier (CABLEVEYOR) is used horizontally.
This applies when the bracket mounting surface is horizontal, travel length is long, or there is limited space in the vertical direction.

  • Cable Carrier (CABLEVEYOR) is a special type that can be bent in both directions. (The standard type cannot be bent in the opposite direction and cannot be used.)

Combination installation

■Applicable models - TK type (excluding TK070)

Features
  • ・When travel length is long, the amount of support material is large and it is not possible to select two support rollers,

  • -Attach 1 to 5 outboard roller to the side of the main body.
Travel length ・TK180 50m or less ・TK130 42m or less ・TK095 24m or less ・And approximately 4 times or less than the standard specification

Traveling roller specifications

  • ・ travel length is long, but if guide channel with support rollers or outboard roller is installed, it may get in the way, or if a machine crosses it.
    Use this when you want to make effective use of the installation space.
  • ・Attach Traveling roller to the main body.
  • -Cable Carrier (CABLEVEYOR) is specially shaped articulate in both directions.

Features
  • - Use when there is not enough installation space and cables/hoses cannot be lined up horizontally.
  • - Multiple Cable Carrier (CABLEVEYOR) with different bending radius are stacked in a parent-child fashion, with the same width.
  • - For the TK and TKH types, a bracket that supports the inner Cable Carrier (CABLEVEYOR) is attached to the inside of the outer Cable Carrier (CABLEVEYOR).
  • -TKC, TKP, TKMK, TKMT, and TKUA types can be stacked directly.
Travel length Same as standard installation, except that support rollers cannot usually be used.
