Purpose of use and operation explanation
Wood chips are made from cut trees and branches using a wood crusher and spread on orchards, gardens, walkways, etc.
The drum of a wood crusher has many cutting teeth and is heavy, so large wood crushers can be difficult to start up.
A sub motor is required.
The drum transmits power from the tractor engine to the PTO shaft, then to the cam clutch, then to the belt, and finally to the drum.
When the engine is stopped, the drum cannot stop immediately and will continue to rotate due to inertia.
If the drum continues to rotate, the cam clutch will idle and release the inertial force.
Also, when the sub-motor rotates the crush drum, the cam clutch outer race rotates idly and the edge with the PTO shaft side is broken.
When the wood and the cutter come into contact, an impact is generated, and the cam engages from the inner race of the cam clutch.
Although it transmits rotation to outer race, it is subjected to the impact mentioned above during operation.
When using it in this way, it is necessary to consider the lifespan and engagement of the Cam Clutch.
