technical data linear actuator Power Cylinder Selection
Selection: Eco Series CDS Type
Requirements
Machines used and how to use them
Thrust or load N{kgf}
Stroke mm
Speed mm/s
Usage frequency Number of starts/min
Power supply voltage, frequency
The nature of the load on the machine used
Usage environment
Usage hours and annual operating days
Selection Procedure
- (1) Select the applicable model number from the standard model list (here) based on the thrust, speed, and stroke.
- (2) Check the table below to make sure that the number of starts for the selected cylinder is within the allowable range (Table 1).
- (3) Check that the thrust-speed diagram satisfies the operating conditions (Fig. 1).
- (4) When using for transport, check that the mass of the transported object is within the allowable range (Table 2).
- (5) Select the options as needed.
*Please be sure to read the following precautions.

- *The data in Table 1 and Figure 1 above are values at an ambient temperature of 20°C. Values may change depending on ambient temperature and other conditions, so please use them as a guide only.
- *When selecting Power Cylinder, please select Power Cylinder with sufficient thrust, taking into account a safety factor, so that the working load (static and dynamic) does not exceed the rated thrust.
