Selection
1. Specification: Decide on A, B, C, or X type
Based on the machine used, we chose Type C: Eco specification, which prioritizes gear strength.
2. Determining Service factor
According to the load classification table by machine (Table 2), mixer (kneader) = load characteristics: M, and according to Service factor table (Table 1), sf = 1.25.
3. Determining the correction torque
Correction torque is calculated from Service factor and load torque.
Corrected torque = 605N・m × 1.25 ≒ 726N・m
4. Deciding the reduction ratio
The reduction ratio is calculated from the motor rotation speed and output rotation speed.
Reduction ratio = 1450 r/min ÷ 1.45 r/min ≒ 1000
5. Deciding on size
C type: Select a size that satisfies the correction torque and reduction ratio from the characteristics table.
Size: SWGM100HC - 1/1000 Motor: 0.2kW
6. Check the shaft load
A radial load is generated on the output shaft, and check whether it is within allowable load.
Radial load: 500N < Allowable radial load = 6478N
7. Deciding on size and model number
Based on the above, model number SWGM100HCV1000RF(LF)020 was selected for vertical mounting (V type) and hollow (H).
