2-1. Plastic cover

Use a screwdriver to remove the plastic cover.

When installing the plastic cover, be sure to fit it securely onto the base chain.

2-2. How to cut the base chain

For rivet type roller chains, grind down one end (on the same side) of the two pins on outer link until they are flush with the plate.

When working with a grinder, be careful not to overheat the chain.

For Lambda Chain, work slowly to avoid overheating the bushings.
