technical data Clutch Handling
MZ-C, MG-C series (for couplings) handling and usage
- 1. The cam clutch uses the MZ series (here) and MG series (here), so please refer to the handling and usage instructions for each.
- 2. Attach the cam clutch side to the high-speed idling shaft.
- 3. When ordering, please be sure to specify the direction of inner race engagement rotation as seen from the direction of the arrows (MZ-C, MG-C) on the product page structural diagram. There are two possible inner race engagement directions as seen from the direction of the arrows (MZ-C, MG-C) on the product page structural diagram: engagement when rotating clockwise (CW) (RH) and engagement when rotating counterclockwise (CCW) (LH). Please be sure to check the engagement direction when installing and operating the product.
- 4. When installing on both shafts, center as accurately as possible. Use a straight edge to tooth root of both sprockets, and at the same time, check that the spacing between the two sprockets is dimension S in the dimension table on each product page before winding the chain.
- 5. Lubricate and handle the coupling in the same way as Tsubaki Roller chain coupling.
- 6. The MG-C is not shipped with lubricant oil, so please apply the recommended lubricant before use.
- 7. For information on lubrication and maintenance, please see here.
