1. Sprockets and gears to be attached to outer race should be fitted to outer race 's outer circumference with dimension B (here) and securely attached to the tapped holes on outer race end face with bolts of strength classification 10.9 or higher. A tolerance of H6 or H7 is recommended for the fitting.
2. A shaft diameter tolerance of h6 or h7 is recommended.
3. Always use a parallel key (MG750 and above are delivered with a key) and never use the top of the key.
4. An air (internal pressure) relief hole is provided at the bottom of inner race keyway, so please leave a gap (0.1 mm or more) between the top of the key and the bottom of the keyway that will allow the air (internal pressure) to escape.
5. Please use two types of JIS B1301-1959 (old JIS) parallel keys. (MG750 and above have special key height dimensions, so a key is included. The keyway depth relative to the shaft must conform to JIS standards.) However, the relationship between the shaft diameter and key dimensions may not conform to JIS standards.
6. When fitting onto the shaft, apply force to the end face inner race. Never hit outer race.
7. If using at or near the maximum allowable torque, we recommend using a key and shaft that has been thermally refined or hardened. (Keys included with MG750 and above are hardened keys.) Also, be sure to check the strength of the shaft.
8. If a thrust load is applied to the Cam Clutch, provide a separate device to bear the thrust load.
9. When using in the medium to high speed range, be careful of heat generation. If the temperature of the Cam Clutch outer race exceeds 70°C, sufficient life cannot be expected. Either select a different product, or use oil bath lubrication or forced lubrication. For continuous idling, the recommended speed is 1/3 or less of the maximum idling rotation speed.
10. The product is shipped without lubricating oil, so please apply the recommended lubricant before use.
11. When used at low speeds, oil may leak from the air hole used to adjust the internal pressure. If you will be using the product at r/min or less, please request a quote for a model without an air hole.
