3. Trial run
After installing the chain, perform a test run before starting actual operation. Check the following items during the test run.
3.1 Before the test run
- 1. The T-pin at the joint is installed correctly.
- 2. The chain slack is correct.
- 3. The lubricate is proper.
- 4. The chain is not hitting the case, cover, etc.
- 5. No bolts or nuts are left untightened.
3.2 Trial run
- 1. There is no abnormal noise.
- 2. The chain is not vibrating.
- 3. The chain is not riding on the sprocket.
- 4. The chain is not wrapped around the sprocket.
- 5. The rails and sprockets are installed in good condition.
- 6. The rollers rotate smoothly.
- 7. There are no stiff points where the chain bends.
- 8. When viewed from above, the chain is not misaligned or meandering.
⚠Caution
- 1. After installation, perform a test run by turning the power on intermittently several times with no load to check, and then start continuous no-load operation.
Before test driving, oil the chain to allow each part to break in. - 2. Even if you cannot lubricate, please perform break-in driving.
- 3. When attaching slats, aprons or buckets to the chain attachment, perform a test run with the bolts and nuts loosely tightened, and then tighten them completely before starting actual operation.
