technical data Cable Carrier (CABLEVEYOR)- Specialized Cable Carrier (CABLEVEYOR) Specifications

In addition to Gliding arrangement and circular travel arrangement, our Cable Carrier (CABLEVEYOR) can also be manufactured to special specifications according to customer requests.
Please contact us for details.

Straight specification

Applicable to TKP type *Excluding some models

Standard Cable Carrier (CABLEVEYOR) are manufactured so that the free span bulges slightly when unloaded, taking into account the amount of material being supported. In contrast, the straight specification is a special specification that eliminates the bulge in the free span. This is effective when the bulge of Cable Carrier (CABLEVEYOR) is a space issue or is undesirable in appearance.
Please contact us if you wish to use the straight type.

■The standard and straight specifications will sag depending on unsupported length and the amount of supporting material.

Aramid cover specification (PAT.)

Applies to all models *Excluding some models

This specification reliably protects Cable Carrier (CABLEVEYOR), cables, and hoses from chips (swarf) generated by machine tools and metal processing machines.

Aramid cover benefits Aramid cover specification
  • 1.Excellent heat resistance
  • 2.Good cut resistance
  • 3. Resistant to various chemicals and solvents (please inquire about the types of chemicals)
  • 4.High strength
  • 5. Easy installation
  • ■Temperature range: up to 200°C (main body 400°C, hook-and-loop fastener 200°C)
  • Fabric color: Yellow (aluminum vapor deposition also available)
  • Fabric edge: Aramid stitching
  • ■Cover closure: Velcro (fastener type that is difficult to remove is also available)

Anti-static specifications

Applicable to TKP and TKC types *Excluding some models

We also manufacture anti-static specifications for Cable Carrier (CABLEVEYOR) Plastic Series as a countermeasure against static electricity.
Please contact us if you wish to use anti-static specifications.

Volume resistivity (approximate)
Anti-static specifications 1×10810Ω・cm
Standard specifications (guideline) 1×101315Ω・cm

PVDF specifications

Applicable to TKP and TKC types *Excluding some models

If gas generation from Cable Carrier (CABLEVEYOR) Plastic Series is undesirable in a vacuum atmosphere environment, we also manufacture PVDF specifications that use a special fluororesin as a countermeasure against outgassing.
Please contact us if you are considering adopting or using PVDF specifications.

Special specifications

Applicable to TKP and TKC types *Excluding some models

The color of the main body links (black) of Cable Carrier (CABLEVEYOR) Plastic Series can be changed. This is effective for the food industry, where black is undesirable, or as a safety measure for the running Cable Carrier (CABLEVEYOR), when black is not desirable in appearance.
Please contact us if you wish to use special color specifications.

Flame retardant

Applicable to TKP type *Excluding some models

The Tsubaki Cable Carrier (CABLEVEYOR) Plastic Series uses plastic materials that meet the UL standard: UL94HB, which is based on the UL standard for flame retardancy safety testing of plastic products. However, to meet demands for even greater flame retardancy, we also manufacture products with a flame retardant specification equivalent to UL standard: UL94V-0.
Please contact us if you wish to use flame retardant specifications.

Stainless steel cover specification

Applicable to TK type, TKH type, TKS type

Stainless steel covers are attached to the inner and outer periphery to prevent chips and dust from getting on the cables and hoses.

  • ■If large chips or scraps fall, they can scratch the stainless steel cover, so as a general rule, the entire space should be covered.
  • ■There is a small gap between both sides of the cover and the link plate.
  • ■The cover and link plate are not fixed in the middle section because they need to slide. Cover retaining brackets are attached to links without supports, allowing the stainless steel cover to move lengthwise without coming off the main body.
  • ■ Be sure to fasten the stainless steel cover at both ends. The stainless steel cover does not have mounting holes when delivered, so please drill holes to fit the mounting brackets, terminal box, etc., and then fasten it. (Installation by the customer)

multiple strand specification

Applicable to TK type, TKH type, TKS type

This specification increases the number of rows of links from two to three or more.

  • ■Used when there are many cables or hoses, exceeding the standard supporter width, or when the weight exceeds the selection criteria. (However, in the case of three rows, it is the same as the standard.)
  • ■It can also be used to store cables and hoses separately (e.g., signal lines and power lines).

If support rollers are required, the intermediate links must also be supported by support rollers.

Stainless steel specifications

Applicable to TK type, TKH type, TKS type

When used in a corrosive atmosphere, the steel parts used in Cable Carrier (CABLEVEYOR) can be replaced with stainless steel.

  • Applicable varieties:
  • TK type, TKH type...chain, supporter, mounting bracket
  • TKP type, TKC type...Mounting bracket (steel only)
Material used
Main body plate
Mounting bracket
SUS304
Pin SUS630
Supporter Aluminum or SUS304

Dust-proof specifications

Applicable to TK and TKH types

The clearance between the plates of Cable Carrier (CABLEVEYOR) Series has been increased to make it easier for dust to be expelled even if it does get in, making it less likely for Cable Carrier (CABLEVEYOR) to bend poorly.
