There is a growing trend to switch from hydraulic cylinders to electric cylinders in order to reduce power consumption and to be considerate of the environment and safety.

Tsubaki's Power Cylinder U Series is lightweight and compact thanks to the use of a newly developed special Ball screw and bearing. Furthermore, a new 50-ton model was released in January 2020.

Tsubaki's technology makes electrification easy in areas where hydraulic cylinders would otherwise be difficult.

Achieves overwhelming cost performance

Electric cylinders have zero standby power consumption. Unlike hydraulic cylinders, there is no need to keep the pump running to maintain thrust, so power consumption is reduced to about one-fifth.

Power Cylinder have a low risk of oil leakage and allow for a simple layout without piping.
It is clean, environmentally friendly, and easy to maintain.

Smaller and lighter electric cylinders

It is smaller and lighter while maintaining the same thrust as the conventional T series. Not only does it contribute to greater freedom and compactness in equipment layout, but it also makes it easy to convert from hydraulic cylinders.

Expanded rated thrust 50 ton model

In January 2020, a new rated thrust of 50 tons was added, making it possible to accommodate large-diameter hydraulic cylinders with an inner diameter of up to Φ250 mm.
