Handling Precautions

• -Synchronous Belts are flexible but have very little stretch, so they cannot be stretched to attach to pulleys.
  Forcing the shaft to go over the flange may cause an accident, so either shorten the center distance or loosen the idler before installing it.
• - In environments where there is a large amount of water, protect the belt with a cover or similar.
• Use in a clean environment with a temperature between -15°C and 80°C. When using in an oily or dusty environment, attach the cover in the same way as when using in water.
• - Do not use in an environment where a large amount of oil or solvent may splash on the product.
• -Because the belt wraps around the tooth surface of the pulley to transmit power, the tooth surface is also an important component.
  Be careful not to scratch the belt and pulley tooth surfaces.
  

Synchronous Belts storage

• ・Do not bend Synchronous Belts too tightly. The maximum bending diameter is four times the pitch. Bending a timing belt too tightly will break the core wire, significantly impairing its performance.
• - It is preferable to store the product in a dry place at normal room temperature. Avoid places with extremely high or low temperatures or high humidity.
