technical data Small size conveyor chain Sprockets Handling
Other notes
1. At rest
Always stop the conveyor in an unloaded state, as there is a risk of it being overloaded when it is started up. Also, if the conveyor has been stopped for an extended period of time, be sure to inspect the chain before starting it up.
2. Fixing parts
For buckets, aprons, slats, and other items that are bolted to the chain, take care to prevent the nuts from loosening and falling off due to vibrations during operation.
3. Temperature and Freezing
Temperature differences, such as between day and night in winter, can cause conveyors to freeze. When lubricating and inspecting, pay attention to temperature changes when transporting wet items.
4. Store a spare chain
We recommend that you prepare a spare chain in case of a breakdown. If you are temporarily storing a spare chain, keep it indoors in a low-humidity area. If you are storing it for a long period of time, apply anti-rust oil. It is also convenient to attach an F to the chain with the product name, drawing number, purchase date, name of the equipment it is used on, etc.
5. Conveyor Preventive Maintenance
Regarding the above maintenance and inspection, if you create a conveyor history and regularly record the conveying capacity, conveying speed, spindle rotation speed, current, voltage, power, actual operating hours, actual conveying volume, inspections, lubricating dates, accidents, etc., you can prevent unexpected breakdowns and make repairs easier.
6. Cleaning
If foreign objects or transported materials get on the chain or chain rail, clean them regularly.
7. Chain and sprocket storage
Do not store the chain in an exposed location where it will be exposed to dust, dirt, or rain. To prevent rust, oil the sprockets with a brush. Chains are not treated with anti-rust treatment at the time of shipment, so apply anti-rust oil when storing the chain and inspect it regularly.
