Receiving, transporting and setting up
This section describes general handling of Zip Master.
For details, please refer to Instruction Manuals included with the product.
Inspection upon receipt
When you receive your Zip Master, please check the following items. If you have any problems or questions, please contact the store where you purchased it.
- - Check whether the [1] TYPE (model number), [2] MFG NO. (manufacturing number), and [3] DRAWING NO. (drawing number) listed on the nameplate match those you require (Figure 1).
- ・Are all accessories included?
- - Is there any damage caused by transportation?
- -Are there any loose screws or nuts?

1. Handling in packaged condition
Please handle with care during transportation to avoid bumping or dropping the product.
- (1) Do not transport heavy objects alone.
- (2) When leaving the product standing, keep it in a horizontal position.
- (3) Do not stand on the packaging.
- (4) Do not place heavy objects or items that may cause the packaging to deform or cause a concentrated load.
2. Installation
- (1) Beforehand, check that the mounting surface is sufficiently rigid and level.
- (2) When unpacking and lifting the main unit, first disassemble the packaging box, then hang a nylon sling or other lifting device on the eyebolt on the top of the main unit to stand it up.
Lift the main body while it is still standing and move it to the installation position.

danger- - When lifting the main unit, be sure to use the eyebolt at the top of the main unit. The central part of the main unit is hollow, so if you hang a lifting tool on it, the built-in equipment may be damaged, which could lead to a serious accident.
- - The installation location for Zip Master must be such that the frame or foundation is rigid enough to ensure proper installation, and the mounting bolts have sufficient pull-out strength even when the maximum load is applied. Also, the mounting bolts must be four M16 bolts (strength classification 10.9 or higher) with a screw-in length of 25 mm or more.
- (3) Temporarily fasten Zip Master body using four M16 bolts (strength classification 10.9 or higher).
*Please prepare the mounting bolts yourself. - (4) Adjust the level as necessary.
- (5) After adjusting the level, tighten the mounting bolts. (Recommended tightening torque: 289 N･m)
- (6) Before carrying out a test run, make sure that the mounting bolts are properly tightened.
- (7) When lifting the main body, check the mass by referring to the delivery drawing and use the appropriate lifting equipment.
