technical data Reducer Worm Reducer Handling
This page describes general matters regarding the handling of the EWJ, EWJM(R), EW, EWM(R), SWJ, SWJM(R), SW, SWM(R), and TD series.
For details, please refer to Instruction Manuals attached to the product.
3. Transportation
When transporting the reducer, be sure to use the eye nuts on the top of the case (fixed with hex bolts in the drilled holes), and never hang wires or the like on the input and output shafts. Unexpected loads will be applied to the shafts and bearings, which may shorten the reducer's lifespan or cause it to malfunction.
If a motor is attached, please use the motor's hanging hook and pay attention to the balance.
Note
- 1) There are no drilled holes on the top surface of the case for EWJ25 to 42 and EWJM(R)42. Please move them by hand.
- 2) SWJ25 to 63 and SWJM(R)35 to 63 do not have hanging bolts, so please carry them by hand.
