Transportation

  • (1) When transporting the reducer, be careful not to drop or tip it over, as this is dangerous. If a hanging bracket is provided, be sure to check that the reducer is not loose before using it.
However, after installing the equipment, do not use the lifting fixture to lift the entire equipment, as this may cause damage to the lifting fixture or the equipment to fall, resulting in injury or damage to the equipment.
  • (2) Before lifting, check the mass of the reducer by checking the nameplate, packing box, outline drawing, catalog, etc. Do not lift a reducer that exceeds the rated load of the lifting tool. This may cause damage to the lifting tool or the reducer to fall, resulting in injury or damage to the equipment. Also, do not lift by holding onto the terminal box. This may cause it to fall off.
  • (3) If the packaging is a wooden box, please use a belt when using the lift, as it will be unstable if you try to scoop up from under the box.
  • (4) When transporting the unit, use the mounting taps on the side of the casing and hang it in a balanced manner using eye bolts, etc.
