MX Series Handle with care

  • 1. When mounting swing arms or gears to outer race, use the tapped holes on outer race end face to securely mount them to outer race 's outer circumference B dimension (here). We recommend a tolerance of H6 or H7 for the mounting part.
  • 2. We recommend press fit between the shaft and inner race with a maximum interference of 0.025 mm.
  • 3. Please use a key with the appropriate dimensions, making sure to grind it in place so that there is no play on the side of the key. Never use the top of the key.
Please use JIS B1301-1996 (New JIS) parallel key (normal type).
  • 4. To achieve high-precision feeding, it is necessary to select the right size cam clutch, as well as a high-precision brake and a cam clutch to prevent reverse rotation. Furthermore, when mounting the cam clutch to the shaft, it is important to eliminate any play between the key and keyway. High-precision feeding is only possible when these elements are combined.
We recommend using the high-precision slipping brake "Torque Keeper" as the brake.
