In recent years, height-adjustable desks have become increasingly popular in offices, driven by the need to accommodate diverse work styles and promote health while working.
However, height-adjustable desks require power, and if monitors and PCs are also used, additional power is needed, making it easy for cables to get tangled.
Furthermore, if those cables were exposed, there was a risk of tangling or breakage when raising or lowering the tabletop.
Therefore, PROTUM®, Cable Carrier (CABLEVEYOR) for office furniture that protects and guides cables in a beautiful and easy-to-handle manner, was adopted.
Problem
Until now, the cables for height-adjustable desks were often simply left hanging down.
However, in that case, there was a risk of the cables getting tangled when raising or lowering the tabletop, or in some cases, getting caught and breaking.
Furthermore, the visible wiring not only detracts from the office's aesthetics, but also raises concerns about difficulties in cleaning and the risk of tripping over the wires.
